Laura's family settled East Kentucky (including Greenup County) very early on. Her Greenup County surnames include Taylor, Savage, Willis, Caudill, Brown, and Cary. Laura has been researching her family since 1926 when she sat down on her aunt's front porch in Flatwoods and opened her first genealogy resource. Laura's yahoo id is ekyorigins and she loves talking genealogy with other researchers :)
